Founder
Shezaad Dastoor is a founder and Director of LINC. In this role, Mr. Dastoor coordinates with LINC staff on the design, development and delivery of negotiation simulations, case studies and training. Previously, he worked for the Fragile and Conflict-affected Countries practice of the World Bank Institute. His responsibilities included designing and developing projects to build leadership capacity in fragile and conflict-affected countries as well as promoting innovation and strategic dialogue around issues of conflict-risk and fragility across countries and regions.
He has built an expertise in negotiation and conflict resolution while working with other organizations like the Center for Global Peace and The Institute for Multi-track Diplomacy where he has managed conflict resolution and education projects with the U.S. and foreign militaries at National Defense University in Washington D.C. and with civil society organizations on the ground in Kashmir.
Shezaad holds a B.A. in Political Science from St. Xavier’s College, Mumbai, and a Master’s degree in International Conflict Resolution from the American University’s School of International Service. He speaks fluent Hindi, Urdu; and is currently learning French and Persian.
